  1. Rebates should not be based on price point, but on hew much GHGs are saved. Why should a Civic driver trading for a Leaf get a huge rebate, while there’s nothing for my Silverado??? And virtually no alternative for a pickup because there’s no rebate.

    • There is much merit in what you say David. An incentive based on emissions reduced is very sensible. Regardless of the formula used to calculate the rebate, my next vehicle will be electric or some hybrid combination.
